About Us
We are a well-established, premium residential design-and-build company based in Melbourne’s Bayside area. Our work includes high-quality renovations, extensions, and custom homes. We pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful, functional design with a personalised client experience.
As a boutique in-office team, we value initiative, creativity, and a hands-on approach. You will work closely with our head builder and head of sales, collaborating across projects from concept to construction. We are looking for someone who is proactive, solutions-focused, and ready to be part of a tight-knit team where your work truly makes an impact.
About the Role
We are seeking a capable and passionate Interior Designer with a strong interest in residential design and the technical ability to produce architectural-style drawings. You will guide clients through the design journey, develop concepts, prepare layouts, and produce documentation for residential renovations, extensions, and new builds.
This is an in-office role based in Bayside. The position will commence as part-time with the flexibility to spread hours across Monday to Friday. There is a clear pathway to full-time for the right candidate, including long-term growth potential within our new design division, Exclusive Design Hub.
Key Responsibilities
· Guide clients through the residential interior design process
· Develop layout concepts, mood boards, and assist with finishes and material selections
· Produce architectural-style drawings including floor plans, internal layouts, and elevations (this is essential)
· Prepare design documentation and client-facing visual presentations
· Work closely with the head builder and head of sales to align design with build feasibility
· Keep project files and communications organised using digital tools
Required Skills and Experience
· Qualification or experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field
· Proven ability to produce architectural drawings using SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar
· Excellent communication and client interaction skills
· Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
· Must be available to work in-office in Bayside, Melbourne
· Basic to good understanding of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
· Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot is a plus
Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded but Not Essential)
· Rendering ability using tools like SketchUp + Enscape, Lumion, or similar
· Graphic design skills for presentations, marketing, or digital content
· Experience creating or posting content on social media (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
