Full job description
Patient Service Assistants to join our Angiography Suite Hollywood Private Hospital.
Part Time opportunity available.

About the Role

As a PSA in the Angiography Suite, your responsibilities would encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with patient transport and comfort to ensuring that the procedure rooms and equipment are ready for use. Angio suite includes a Day Surgery Unit, 4 Cath labs and a PACU.

The role requires excellent communication skills, a patient-centred approach and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the Angiography Suite.


Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to.

Perform all cleaning tasks, which includes decontamination of beds and cleaning of bathroom, rooms, work Area, Tile Cleaning, Cleanup Tools, Room Cleaning, Professional Cleaning, Wet Cleaning.
Your duties also consist of moving patients within the hospital.
Recognise the “Ramsay Way” providing care and commitment. Support the organisational Environmental goals in performance of all duties.
Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster is essential for this role.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will be self-motivated and work effectively under the direction of the Environmental Services Team Leader.

The successful candidate will also meet the following:

Demonstrated experience in a Hospitality/ Healthcare Cleaning.
High level of personal presentation and adhering to uniform policy.
High level of cleaning skills and chemical usage including Knowledge and Understanding of material data safety sheets.

Requirements

Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
