Accounts Semi Senior – Stafford | Up to £28,000

The Opportunity:

We are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a growing firm in Stafford. This is a great opportunity for someone with practice experience looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment while working with a varied client base.

Your New Role as Accounts Semi Senior:

In this role, you will support the accounts team in delivering high-quality services to a range of clients. Working closely with senior staff, you will assist with preparing accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a practice environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks.
Supporting the preparation of management accounts.
Liaising with clients to gather information and answer queries.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA, with experience in an accountancy practice. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning are essential.
