We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. ```Responsibilities```
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff

```Experience```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft
- Experience with financial management and analysis
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £14.00-£21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week
