Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced accounts professional to join our team at STIM Scotland Ltd.
STIM Scotland Ltd is a leading multi-disciplinary aquaculture service provider. We are uniquely positioned to offer pharmaceuticals and fish health products as well as veterinary and environmental services to the growing aquaculture industry.
Working closely with management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations across our growing company. Responsibilities include:
Maintain accurate financial records
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Preparation of VAT returns
Support payroll processing and staff timesheet management
Credit control
Prepare monthly reports and financial statements
Ensuring clear audit trail and liaising with accountants for year end statutory accounts for all entities.
Project work and the implementation of new accounting software
Requirements:
Proven bookkeeping, accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
A positive outlook.
