Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer - React/Python

Location: Toronto, Canada - (Remote)

Working hours: 40 hours a week (Mandatory)

Working time: Must work EST, with some PST overlap

Experience: 6-8 years

Must Have Skills
• React (80%)
• Python (20%)
• AWS Cloud

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Support backend APIs and services using Python in a serverless AWS setup.
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to support data-driven features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ship features.
• Review code, write tests, and troubleshoot bugs across environments.
• Assist with deployments and monitor system performance.

Must-Have Skills
• Strong experience building web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Confident working with Python for backend development in AWS.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Comfortable using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid grasp of Agile practices and Git workflows.

Secondary Skills
• Bonus if you’ve worked with infrastructure as code tools like Serverless Framework or AWS CDK.
• Experience with monitoring tools is a plus.

Certifications
• AWS certification is a nice bonus, but not required.
