Job Summary

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants established for over 30 years, based in Uddingston, Glasgow. We are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our small friendly team.

The position on offer comprises sole responsibility for all tax matters and general management of a portfolio of approx. 200 Ltd co. clients of varying sizes and 100 sole traders and partnerships.

Responsibilities and Duties

Preparation of Tax returns for Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

Preparation of Personal tax returns.

Preparation of Capital Gains tax computations.

Completion and submission of P11d returns.

General VAT advice and guidance.

Provide tax advice when required.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.

Be fully computer literate, with experience in Iris Tax Software, Excel and Word.

Be able to work with minimum supervision and work within deadlines.

The position is offered on a full time basis but part time would be considered.
