Kitchen Hand – Central Kitchen

About the Role

As a kitchen hand, you will assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our Central Kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production and compliance with food safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing the Central Kitchen’s daily operations, including staff supervision and workflow coordination.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP standards at all times.
Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Manage stock levels, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Take charge during the absence of the Kitchen Manager, ensuring smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For

Experience: Proven experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a leadership role.
Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts is essential.
Skills:
Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and management effectively.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet production goals.
Proficiency in food safety standards and HACCP compliance.
Leadership: A proactive and supportive leader who can motivate the team.
