The role
We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Asset Management team in Auckland on a fixed term contract for six months.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering precise cost planning estimates and preparing tender bids. This is a dynamic position that demands exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy, as you will be managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Strong relationship management skills are essential, as you will be proactive in maintaining and developing connections with clients, trade partners, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification
At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
Demonstrated expertise in measuring and estimating for various builds, including new constructions and fit-outs
Proficiency with software systems such as Procore, JobPack, simPRO and Lentune
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong numerical aptitude, as accuracy with numbers is crucial
Strong knowledge of NZS contracts and construction methodologies
Full NZ drivers licence
