IT Network & Cloud (Azure) Engineer (iGaming UK)

Job description
Job Summary
We seek an IT Network & Cloud (Azure) Engineer to join our team. They'll be responsible for maintaining and evolving our on site physical (minimal) and proprietary Azure cloud-based network that supports both our iGaming operational platform, and our hybrid working employees. This current network is new, and shiny, and low on technical debt. We’re scaling at rapid pace, and we have huge plans. We don’t have recurring meetings, and we ship frequently and meaningfully.

Duties
• Build and maintain our proprietary Azure cloud-based network
• Ensure our physical office can always connect efficiently to our virtual network
• Ensure our company devices can connect to our network and adhere to our IT policies

Requirements
• 3+ years commercial experience maintaining Azure-based company networks
• 3+ years commercial experience maintaining basic physical on site networks
• 1+ years commerical experience maintaining company devices with Microsoft Entra (previously Microsoft Active Directory)
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical implementations
• Good understanding of technology
• Strong intuition for finding the most elegant solution to a problem
• Confidence to work with a cross functional team
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
• A sense of humour
• A team player
• An "I don't know it but I'll find out" attitude

Pluses
• Experience working in the casino and sports betting industry
• Experience working with CloudFlare
• Experience working Microsoft Entra (previously Microsoft Active Directory)
• Experience working with Vue.js
• Experience with cloud based virtual networking
• Experience with task prioritisation
• An interest in one or more televised sports
• Ability to describe to a layman the difference between PEMs, CRTs, and PFXs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
• Bonus scheme

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Colchester CO3 3BT
