- A shadow teacher is an individual who provides one on one support to special needs students to help in the development of their academic, social, and behavioral skills.
- A Shadow Teacher is a professional who helps children having disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Disability, ADHD, behavioral issues, etc. on a one-to-one basis.
- They provide assistance to children with disabilities during mainstream schooling.
- A Shadow teacher needs to be patient and connect with child.
- Good communication and organizational skills are important qualifications for Shadow Teacher.
- Requirements:

- Diploma/Bachelor degree.
- 1-2 Years Experience is desirable.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
