Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting to support executive-level decision-making for our innovative consumer goods client. This role will be pivotal in preparing high-quality financial reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for the Board of Directors, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Board Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, business performance summaries, and KPI dashboards for quarterly board meetings and ad hoc strategic reviews.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and key insights that support executive decision-making.
Presentation Development: Translate complex financial data into clear, concise presentations and visualizations suitable for senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, operations, and executive teams to gather and validate information for board-level reporting.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
Governance Support: Ensure compliance with internal reporting standards and assist with corporate governance documentation and regulatory requirements as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to reporting processes, data visualization tools, and board reporting packages.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or corporate finance, preferably with exposure to board reporting or investor relations
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Insights)
Strong understanding of financial statements, key financial metrics, and corporate performance indicators
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for executive-level stakeholders
High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and organizational skills
