Remuneration: 62512 - 90357 full time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging)

This is an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal Health Worker to join the Speech Pathology team based at La Perouse, that provides early intervention services for Aboriginal children.

What you'll be doing


To work as part of a team implementing the CESPHN funded SCH Speech Pathology departments’ targeted earlier intervention program, with a focus on screening, early intervention strategies, the development of programs to support vulnerable Aboriginal children and families and to strengthen communities. To work as part of the SCH Speech Pathology team using outreach and soft entry strategies to reach out to Aboriginal families and communities in order to create communities that are safe and supportive for Aboriginal children and families. Provide cultural support for SCH Speech Pathology clients and visitors to the service who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
