Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable nanny to provide care in a home setting. You’ll be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports each child’s development and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, managing daily routines, and delivering hands-on care aligned with each family's values and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Childcare Duties:
Deliver attentive, high-quality care to ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness.
Support consistent daily routines including meals, naps, and hygiene.
Create a structured yet flexible environment that supports learning and play.
Educational & Developmental Activities:
Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate play and educational activities.
Encourage creativity through storytelling, music, arts, and imaginative play.
Promote outdoor activities that enhance physical health and a connection to nature.
Household Support:
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to any dietary needs.
Assist with light household tasks related to the children (e.g., tidying, laundry).
Transport children to and from school, appointments, or extracurricular activities.
Communication & Collaboration:
Use the Cleo app to maintain clear communication with families and the Cleo team.
Keep parents informed about daily routines, developmental progress, and any concerns.
Participate in regular check-ins with Cleo Nanny Co for ongoing support and resources.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a nanny or similar childcare role.
Completion of the Cleo Training Program, based on global best practices in holistic childcare.
Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and CPR certification.
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (preferred).
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate care techniques.
Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Warm, compassionate, and adaptable approach to caregiving.
Personal Attributes:
Genuine love of working with children and supporting their development.
Dependable, punctual, and confident working independently.
Creative and engaging personality with a problem-solving mindset.
Flexible and open to adjusting to the needs and routines of each family.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
