About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player to join our team in our Penrose Branch in Auckland. Key responsibilities include:
Assist customers with trade counter and phone sales enquiries and follow up with quotes, pricing and product enquiries in a timely manner
Contribute to the customer service team by assisting other sales staff and counter sales
Picking, packing and despatching of goods
Receiving, unpacking and storage of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures
Assist with the maintenance and presentation of the showroom and warehouse and to ensure it is kept clean, tidy and stocked in accordance with Company guidelines
Delivering consistent and high-quality service to our customers
This is a hands-on role that will also require physical manual handling and heavy lifting for the purposes of preparing customer orders for dispatch as well as receipting and arranging storage of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures.
About you – skills and experience:
2-3 years’ relevant industry experience
Excellent communication skills, great phone manner and strong customer service ethics.
Natural problem-solving skills, a curious mind, comfortable working with blue collar, construction & industrial stakeholders.
Team player attitude.
