Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ideally from a dealership environment. This role requires hands-on expertise with various hand tools and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively in the repair process.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during the repair process.
Weld components as required for specific repairs or modifications.
Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably in a dealership setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding techniques.
Ability to read and understand schematics related to vehicle systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications may be preferred.

Pay: $4,285.65-$7,549.87 per month
