Job description
As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR services to meet the diverse needs of the College and its stakeholders. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, payroll liaison, and maintaining HR data and records. This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, reporting to the Principal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line HR advice and support to all staff and managers.
• Manage employee relations casework, including absence, disciplinaries, and grievances.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process.
• Liaise with the London Borough of Sutton (LBS) HR service for employment contracts and payroll.
• Maintain accurate HR data on iTrent and UNITe.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and employment legislation.
• Support the Principal with HR-specific Self-Assessment Reviews.
About You:
You will be a highly organised individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong working knowledge of employment legislation and be proficient in using HR IT systems.
Essential Qualifications:
• Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) qualifications in English and Mathematics.
• Level 5 CIPD qualification in HR.
