Job Description

As A Private client tax manger, your responsibilities will include among others

Responsible for a portfolio of clients which may including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non UK domiciliaries, non UK residents, partnerships and trusts
Identifying possible advisory possibilities and opportunities for the clients and managing these projects
Liaison with Partners, demonstrating strong management skills, Duties include Appraisals/monitor staff performance, On the job training for junior staff on a one-to-one basis, Dealing with staff questions
Managing the administration of the portfolio of clients. Ensuring all aspects of compliance, accounts, tax returns and tax computations
Preparing reports for clients, attending client meetings, and responding to ad-hoc questions and inquiries regarding their personal tax affairs.
Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

Experience gained within a professional services firm.
Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
Must be able to plan workload in order to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines and cope with pressure
Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner
Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members.
Customer Focus on Meeting deadlines and responding to client needs.
Provide link in chain to supervise staff members below and support Directors above.
Education and Qualifications:

ACA/ CTA or equivalent qualification.
