An opportunity has arisen at our dynamic, expanding firm of Accountants, within our Halifax office for an Audit Semi Senior / Senior. This challenging, demanding and exciting role would be an ideal opportunity for a Practice experienced Auditor who is ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or part qualified however qualification by experience would also be considered.

Brief Job Description

The role will include, but not limited to, the following:

Preparation of statutory accounts using CCH software
Obtaining an understanding of client systems and processes to aid in determining the
direction of testing

Client and industry research to aid in planning process, including risk identification
Completing audit planning including materiality calculation and sample size calculations
Completing designated assignments within a timely manner. These will cover all aspects of
the balance sheet and P&L

Analysing financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance
Liaising with clients to attain relevant information necessary to complete audit procedures
Assisting senior staff with complex and significant risk areas
Completion of audit file for review by Senior Manager
Reporting and advising on identified internal control observations and misstatements to management
Attending and performing year end stock counts
Requirements for the role

A good working knowledge of CCH Audit Automation and CCH Accounts is an advantage.
You will possess good communication, administration and organisational skills.
You must be a flexible team player.
Holds a driving licence and has access to their own car
