Part Time Accountant/Business Manager, IZVG

Hours:

Three days per week 0900-1700

Tenure:

Permanent, subject to a 6-month probationary period

Duties:

As Accountant/Business Manager, you will be responsible for organising the strategic and financial management of the practice and business development. The role will involve finance duties including sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, pensions, banking, cash-flow oversight, and nominal ledger upkeep; producing monthly management accounts and annual reports, submitting VAT returns, coordinating insurance renewals, and liaising closely with external accountants; and general business support.

A qualification in both business/finance and accounting is essential; minimum of 5 years business/finance experience is essential; veterinary industry experience is valuable but not essential. The candidate should have the ability to work as part of a small team and have good attention to detail. Experience using accounting software is essential.

Salary commensurate with experience.
