As they continue to expand across UK and international markets, we’re looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to bring food, manufacturing or FMCG experience and make a real impact in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment where food is at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a pivotal role in controlling costs, driving efficiencies and helping the business make smart, data-led decisions:

Prepare weekly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis).
Maintain and develop standard product costing models.
Analyse production and material usage variances.
Support stock, waste, and margin reporting across multiple product lines.
Forecast cashflow and manage accruals, prepayments, and journals.
Collaborate closely with Procurement and Operations to improve cost visibility.
Lead product profitability reviews and drive cost improvement initiatives.
Provide insight for budgets, forecasts, and commercial planning.
Liaise with auditors during year-end.
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
Experience in a food manufacturing, FMCG, or similar production environment.
Strong understanding of product costing, stock accounting, and factory financials.
Proactive, hands-on and commercially minded.
Able to communicate and influence across all departments.
