We're in an exciting phase of growth and diversification, which has created a new opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join our leadership team and partner closely with the Group CEO.

Financial Controller
This is a high-impact position for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, SME manufacturing environment. You’ll lead the finance strategy and day-to-day operations, providing critical insights, guidance and leadership as we continue to scale.

Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Deliver persuasive analysis and recommendations to influence senior stakeholders
Manage year-end processes and liaise with external auditors
Oversee cash flow, VAT, payroll, and monthly invoicing
Deliver robust reporting on performance indicators and key metrics
Support investment decisions and capital expenditure proposals
Manage and mentor the Accounts Assistant
Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements
Contribute to wider business projects and decision-making
Financial Controller Skills & Experience:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
Proven experience in a No.1 finance role within manufacturing
Track record of delivering financial leadership in a growing SME
Strong commercial and strategic mindset
High-level Excel and financial modelling skills
Experience with product and machine finance
Ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

Financial Controller Package:

Competitive salary - £45,000 to £50,000
