• Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students across various year groups, working closely with teachers to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
• Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the delivery of lesson plans by working alongside the lead teacher to support educational activities and promote student engagement.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN), tailoring approaches to accommodate individual learning abilities and help them achieve their full potential.
- Prepare classroom resources and set up equipment necessary for lessons and activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to track developments and identify areas needing further support.
- Encourage positive behavior and a constructive classroom environment by implementing agreed-upon behavior management strategies.
- Facilitate small group activities, encouraging collaboration and interactive learning.
- Contribute to assessing student work and maintaining accurate records of achievement and progress.
- Support the lead teacher in managing classroom administration and performing clerical tasks when required.
- Act as a role model, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and a commitment to the school's ethos and policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of educational best practices and further enhance teaching skills.
• Qualifications and Skills:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification specific to being a teaching assistant.
- Previous experience working within an educational setting, particularly with children of the relevant age group.
- A good understanding of the UK National Curriculum and an ability to implement it effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff members.
- A patient and resilient attitude with the ability to encourage and inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Competency in literacy, numeracy, and ICT to support the curriculum effectively.
- A current and valid DBS certificate or the willingness to undergo a DBS check.
