Salary: £480 – £520 weekly (Term Time Only)

Step Into Teaching is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Manchester, seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to support pupils with high and complex needs.
This is a highly rewarding role ideal for graduates who are considering a future in education, psychology, or SEN teaching. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide personalised, one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils feel safe, understood, and able to thrive.
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
• Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs
• Be patient, empathetic, and able to build trusting relationships
• Have experience working with children or young people (particularly with SEN or in a care/support capacity)
• Be resilient, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Be a great communicator and team player
• Have a genuine interest in education and child development
