Position Overview:
We are seeking a Tax Accountant with an active EA or CPA license to join our growing team. This role involves preparing and reviewing individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns, advising clients on tax matters, and supporting the firm's broader tax planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041)
Conduct tax research and stay updated on relevant tax law changes
Assist with year-round tax planning for clients
Communicate with clients regarding tax filings, notices, and projections
Review work of junior staff and provide feedback or mentorship as needed
Work closely with others on complex tax matters and firm strategy
Qualifications:

Active Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
3–6 years of recent public accounting or tax-focused experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations
Proficient in tax software (Drake, or similar) and QuickBooks
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy seasons
Preferred:

Experience with Trusts, Estates, and multi-state filings
Familiarity with TaxDome or similar client portal systems
