JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant

LOCATION: Hawthorne, NY (on-site)

TYPE: Part-time, regular

COMPENSATION: $28.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Role Summary:

The Staff Accountant will support our financial operations with precision and integrity. This role is ideal for a professional who is seeking to re-enter work or is seeking a flexible working schedule.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-up
Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
Support yearly audit, tax preparation and liaise with external CPAs as needed
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3–5 years of professional accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, a plus
