ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Location: Colliers Wood, South London

Type: Full Time

Salary: £30000 -£34000 depending on experience

Rainbow Productions is a global leader in the manufacture of high-quality bespoke mascots and the UK’s official supplier of over 140 licensed children’s characters for events.

Rainbow is seeking an Accounts Assistant with at least three years’ experience in purchase ledger and sales ledger or (level AAT Level 3 or above/AAT complete). Reporting directly to the Head of Accounts and Finance.

Requirements and duties are to include:
• Purchase ledger – Logging, coding, payments, reconciling accounts, filing
• Sales ledger – checking clients, creating invoices from bespoke system, checking VAT implications, updating payments

Other duties may include
• Royalties – collecting information from bespoke system and reporting to Licensors
• Pleo – on line debit card portal, receipt logging
• Collating shipping documents for HMRC records
• Filing

About You

Very good computer knowledge, including excellent excel knowledge

Experience with manufacture companies advantageous

Experience with accounts packages and various supplier portals

VAT understanding, including overseas

Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills

Be involved with improving processes for the team and wider team
