About Us

We are a growing social media and content agency based in London, looking for a reliable and experienced accountant to support us on a part-time basis. Our business operates smoothly but needs professional oversight and support on financial processes, compliance, and monthly operations.

Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced accountant to work with us approximately 2–3 days per month. You’ll take ownership of our monthly financial tasks, support payroll and payments, and preparation of annual accounts.

Key Responsibilities
• Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation (Xero)
• Invoicing clients and managing accounts receivable
• Processing bills and expenses, managing accounts payable
• Supporting payroll (liaison with payroll provider or processing directly)
• VAT returns (if applicable)
• Preparation of monthly financial summaries for internal review
• End-of-year accounts preparation
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and Companies House filing obligations

Requirements
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in small business accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero / QuickBooks / FreeAgent)
• Solid understanding of UK tax, payroll, and reporting obligations
• Strong attention to detail, organised, and proactive communicator
