Gervais Patterson CPA is a small accounting firm in full growth, in Eastern Ontario (Embrun). We are looking to add a manager to our growing team
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Staff Accountant/Manager to-be, located in Embrun, ON. The Senior Staff Accountant/Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, performing analytical tasks, preparing corporate tax returns, and supervising our growing team. They will also assist with financial audits, month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and fiscal authorities.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements (notice to reader)
• Strong Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation or in the process of obtaining CPA is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software and tools
Salary
Base salary from 80k-100k
Performance bonus
Health care allowance
RRSP contribution
Reduced summer hours (with full pay)
No over-time required, ever!
