Job Description

Job description
Overview
We are looking for a reliable and well-organised individual to provide admin support for our Thriving Forward Programme. This short-term role is vital to helping the smooth day-to-day running of the project as we work with young people across Walsall to support their growth, confidence and participation in community-led opportunities.

You’ll work closely with the project coordinator and wider Bluuprint team to assist with admin, communications, record-keeping, and logistics. This is a fixed-term, part-time position (approximately two days per week over four months), with potential for growth depending on funding and fit.

Responsibilities
• Provide general administrative support to the programme team
• Maintain up-to-date records, including attendance logs and evaluation forms
• Schedule meetings and help coordinate bookings for sessions and workshops
• Support the onboarding process for volunteers and young people
• Help manage inboxes and respond to routine queries in a timely way
• Organise digital and paper-based files using shared content management tools
• Assist with basic finance tasks such as logging expenses and receipts
• Help with creating simple forms, templates, or sign-up sheets as needed
• Support the preparation and printing of project materials
• Ensure safeguarding and GDPR protocols are followed when handling personal data

Experience
• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Experience using basic IT tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple tasks
• A calm, approachable manner with a willingness to learn
• Experience in a charity or community setting is a plus
• Understanding of safeguarding and data protection is desirable but not essential (training can be provided)

If you enjoy bringing structure and support to meaningful projects and want to be part of a youth-focused, community-led initiative, we’d love to hear from you.
