The University of Surrey is seeking a high performing Executive Assistant. This is a pivotal role supporting both the Chief Operating Officer and the Vice President Strategic Growth – two senior executives driving operational excellence and ambitious strategic initiatives.

About the Role:

This is a role for an experienced, highly professional and discreet Executive Assistant. You will provide effective, efficient, high quality and confidential professional, executive and administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and the Vice President, Strategic Growth, ensuring that they are well supported and equipped to deliver transformative outcomes for the University. Working on-site at our Stag Hill campus, the post holder will be working on a regular basis with members of the University senior leadership teams as well as senior external contacts.

About You:

The successful candidate should possess degree level qualifications or have relevant experience in a senior administrative role.

This is a very demanding role, with varied and complex tasks. The role requires someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is used to handling confidential information. The successful candidate will have excellent planning and organisation ability, and can adapt to changing demands and priorities, remaining calm and effective when working under pressure to tight deadlines.
