• Application and Database Administrator
• Primary Responsibilities
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Develops test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs.
- Maintains systems documentation.
- Provides advice and training to end-users.
- Analyze internal user business requirements and develop, maintain, and modify reports for the ERP platform.
- Configuration planning and installation of mostly MS-SQL and My-SQL databases.
- Conduct database performance analysis, tuning and maintenance.
- Create and maintain reports in SQL server 2016/2019 Reporting Services and Power BI.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
• Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Management and Database Administrator
- Microsoft SQL Certification is required.
- Knowledge in Power BI is an asset.
- Ability to select new enterprise-level software packages and optimize existing processes.
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- General Database Administration, Performance and Health/capacity monitoring (SQL Server 2016/2019).
- Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of databases.
- Extensive knowledge of T-SQL (Ad-hoc maintenance scripts, stored procedures, views).
- Experience integrating SQL Server and Power Bi.
- Expert knowledge of design and maintenance of SQL Server 2016/2019 Reporting Services reports.
