Reception Teacher

At Educating Excellence, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception teacher to join our vibrant Early Years team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an exceptional practitioner to create a warm, engaging, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and excited to learn in an Islamic environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver creative and inspiring lessons that promote a love of learning through play and exploration.
Plan and implement a rich, balanced Early Years curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils.
Create a nurturing, supportive classroom environment where children feel happy, secure, and confident.
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, using this information to plan next steps in their learning.
Build positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring strong home-school partnerships.
Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence and resilience.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice within the Early Years team.
Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, indoors and outdoors.
Stay up to date with best practices and developments in Early Years education.
Experience

A qualified Early Years teacher (EYFS) with experience working in a Reception class.
A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and child development.
A caring and patient approach, with a passion for helping young children learn and grow.
Creative, flexible, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
A strong commitment to working closely with families to support each child’s learning journey.
