Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational institution. Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to various learning styles.
Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while integrating literature studies.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student interaction and collaboration.
Organise extracurricular activities related to English language and literature to enhance students' learning experiences.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance while communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding progress.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.
Qualifications
A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential; a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of the English language curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
Experience in teaching English at various levels is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes is an advantage. We welcome applications from individuals who are eager to make a difference in students' lives through the power of language and literature.

Pay: £12.21-£35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
