Job Description
Provide instruction, direction, counsel, feedback, and training using Preach my Gospel and the approved curriculum (75%)
Demonstrate understanding of and loyalty to the approved training model of explain, demonstrate, practice, evaluate, and re-practice
Direct missionaries in planning and accounting for their learning
Develop and maintain an appropriate relationship with missionaries based on love, respect, and courtesy
Discover and respond to missionaries' needs; and strengthen missionaries' faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
Responsible and accountable for missionary progress
Teach language (only applies to some teachers at specific MTCs)
Dedicate time to plan and prepare to instruct missionaries (15-20%)
Attend and actively participate in regular in-service training and monthly video conference training with Church Headquarters' personnel (5-10%)
Implement direction and training from manager of training and the International MTC administrative staff
Receive and implement feedback from manager of training following regular classroom observation
Assist in MTC administrative tasks (0-5%)
Measure progress based on missionary progress and evaluations and, manager observations and evaluations
