Job Description

The Inn at Bay Fortune, located in Canada, is currently seeking experienced and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiters/Waitresses. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests, present menus, and make recommendations on food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or special requests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiments.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Uphold health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail selections.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
