Here, you’ll lead the evolution of AI-enabled product engineering teams, working on cutting-edge solutions that redefine how customers experience home buying. You’ll architect scalable systems, drive technical strategy, and influence product direction across the organisation. What you do will have a lasting impact – shaping the future of digital banking and customer experience.

As a key member of the Home Buying crew, you’ll be part of a cross-functional, empowered team and collaborate closely with Product and Design leaders. You’ll mentor senior engineers and managers, lead technical initiatives, and represent engineering in executive discussions.

As Staff Software Engineer you will establish and evolve engineering standards while driving technical decision making.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

Pride themselves on architecting and delivering complex systems at scale.

Are knowledgeable in AI/ML systems, agentic AI, and strategic AI adoption.

Have solid experience leading high-performing engineering teams and driving technical excellence.

Are comfortable influencing product direction and driving alignment across teams.

Are constantly thinking strategically to balance long-term vision with immediate business needs.

Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all, but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:

Web technologies such as React or NextJS

Backend technologies such as NodeJS, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET

Microservices, RESTful API design

CI/CD tools like TeamCity, GitHub Actions

AWS Cloud services including ECS, Lambda
