Position Title: Commercial Vehicle Delivery Driver (Class A & Class B)

Position Schedule: Monday - Saturday; Start Time 6:00 AM

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour - $24.00/hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Job Summary

The position of a Rancho Foods’ Commercial Vehicle Delivery Driver will perform the duties involved in providing customer service while delivering product to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Rancho Foods’ Commercial Vehicle Delivery Driver bears the responsibility for staying updated with DOT regulations, ensuring their license, DOT medical card, and record are up to date, and following all federal, state, and local regulations. Delivery drivers will also be responsible for any and all payments (i.e. signed invoices, cash, personal checks, business checks, money orders, etc.) as well as all product assigned to their trucks. Drivers will be required to operate heavy machinery such as commercial vehicles, lift gates, pallet jacks, and forklifts, as well as lift boxes of products with weights up to ninety pounds.

Essential Functions

· Perform a pre-trip and post-trip inspection

· Log into the appropriate route using a company issued cell phone

· Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations

· Drive in a safe and efficient manner through planned routes

· Ensure all invoiced product is accounted for and loaded in truck

· Responsible for making sure that the truck is locked when unattended

· Loading and un-loading boxes of products with weight up to ninety pounds

· Responsible for checking, and double checking, all payments received

· Performing product and money pick-ups as needed

Job Qualifications

Valid California Class A license

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Reading, writing, and basic math skills
