Job Title:Event Operations ManagerOverview of the Role:
The Event Operations team is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to support our event operations as Event Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in leading box office operations for events at Hamilton Stadium, ensuring seamless execution and excellent customer service.
• Manage access control systems (Ticketmaster) for all related events, resolving any issues promptly to maintain high standards.
• Support ticket operations duties for Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC events, including event creation, order processing, inventory management, payment plans, mobile ticket assistance, ticket exchanges, member account requests, etc.
• Serve as secondary point-of-contact for external ticket partners and event promoters, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
Working with Ticketmaster Suite of Products:
• Utilize Archtics, Account Manager, TM One, Event Management Tool, TM Host, Virtual Venue, etc., to streamline event planning and execution.
• Work with client support to troubleshoot system issues, event creation, reporting, etc., ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Reconcile daily sales and financial reporting to leadership, providing accurate and timely information to inform business decisions.
• Maintain quality control on all related events ticketed products, ensuring consistency and excellence across all events.
• Lead training sessions for full-time ticket sales representatives hires and annual intern class, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance skills and performance.
Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Sports Management) or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in event operations, customer service, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Ticketmaster Suite of Products and ability to learn new systems quickly.
