About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our CBSE school in Devanahalli. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, compliance, and reporting, preferably within the education sector. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure financial sustainability and support the school’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the school’s day-to-day financial operations, including accounts, audits, and taxation.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with the school’s objectives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and audit processes.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and analysis for management and board decision-making.
• Manage fee collections, payroll processing, vendor payments, and financial reconciliations.
• Implement internal controls and cost-effective strategies to optimize resources.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Support the leadership team in strategic financial planning for expansion and growth.
Requirements
• Education: Master’s Degree in Finance / CA / Semi-qualified CA / ICAI / MBA (Finance) / or other relevant finance qualifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in finance, with proven experience as a Finance Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Finance Executive (experience in schools/colleges is a strong advantage).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be currently residing in Bangalore and willing to travel to Devanahalli.
