Job Title: US Taxation & Accounting
• Location: Udaipur / Remote (depends on clients requirement)
• Shift Timings: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST / 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM IST (depends on clients requirement)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated US Accountant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in US accounting and taxation. The ideal candidate must possess a strong command of US GAAP, end-to-end accounting cycles, and a comprehensive understanding of federal and state tax compliance, along with proficiency in industry-standard tools and ERPs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Perform full-cycle accounting including month-end and year-end closing.
• Post journal entries, maintain prepaid, accrual, and depreciation schedules.
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations, daily/monthly.
• Maintain accurate AP/AR records, including invoice/bill entry, slip matching, and payment processing.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Conduct variance analysis, budget tracking, and cost reporting.
• Oversee inventory accounting and fixed asset management.
• Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, and contract compliance.
• Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file US tax forms:
• Business Tax Returns: 1120, 1120S, 1065
• Individual Returns: 1040
• Payroll Tax Filings: 940, 941
• Information Returns: 1099s, W-2, W-3, W-4, W-8, W-9
• Assist with tax planning, estimated payments, and year-end filings.
• Support federal and state tax audits and compliance checks.
• Compile tax packages for CPAs and assist in tax provision calculations.
• Payroll Support
Assist with biweekly and monthly payroll processing.
Maintain accurate payroll records including 401(k) and benefit allocations.
Handle Paychex, ADP, and related payroll software.
Tools & Software Experience:
• Accounting Software: QuickBooks Online (QBO), QuickBooks Desktop (QBD), Xero, Oracle NetSuite
• Expense Management: Concur
• AP/AR Platforms: Bill.com
• Payroll Software: ADP, Paychex
• Excel: Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting
• Document Management: Experience with shared drives, cloud storage, and CRM platforms preferred
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of recent and relevant experience in US accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
• Proficient in multiple ERPs and cloud-based accounting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with CPA firms or US-based clients is highly preferred.
Additional Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of C Corp, S Corp, LLC, and Partnership tax structures.
• Familiarity with multi-state tax filings and sales/use tax.
• Prior exposure to compliance monitoring for vendor contracts and legal documentation.
