Responsabilities:
• Oversee all accounting operations for diferent entities
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
• Mentor and develop a team of accountants, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, and performance evaluation

Perfil ideal

A successful GL Accounting Team Leader should have:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven working experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to drive and achieve results
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Portuguese. French is a plus.
