As one of our Account Representatives, you will work with patients and third-party payors to ensure proper coverage for the care and caring we deliver. You’ll play a key role in our continued success as New York’s top ranked hospital (U.S. News & World Report).


Account Representative – Populations Health and Finance - Part Time – Weill Cornell


Transform your career in this pivotal position, which covers all billing for our hospital. Ensure that bills are complete and comprehensive. Review and monitor all billing exception reports for correction/re-submission. Ensure that all claims are submitted in the accepted time frame. Investigate patient inquiries involving financial matters to secure payment. Secure and process payments from insurance companies and self-pay patients. Take appropriate action upon denial or request for further information.


This shift for this position is 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.


Preferred Criteria

Strong customer service skills
Associates degree
Bilingual Spanish

Required Criteria

High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Strong data entry skills
Solid working knowledge of third-party payers

$32.70-$40.55/Hourly
