THE OPPORTUNITY

Located at our Manufacturing facility in Ormeau, Stratco is looking for a Qualified Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our committed Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess fault finding and diagnostic experience as well as a solid understanding of processes and maintenance procedures with the ability to deal with breakdown situations/requirements.


This is a permanent full-time opportunity working day shift Monday - Friday, overtime optional.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Routine preventative maintenance
Troubleshooting and rectifying breakdowns
Interpreting machinery and product drawings
Working on a range of equipment involved in sheet metal fabrication including roll formers, press brakes, presses and folding machines
Training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
General housekeeping activities
Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

Formal trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics would be highly regarded
Commitment to producing quality products
Passion to deliver outstanding customer service
Excellent communication skills
Connect/disconnect electrical licence would be highly regarded
The ability to work in a team environment
Basic computer skills
