We are seeking an individual with a strong background in financial management to be the Finance and Operations Manager of our nonprofit organization.

The Salmon Arm Seniors Resource Centre connects seniors and their families to resources and programs supporting independence, connection and well-being in Salmon Arm. Job Summary

This pivotal role supports our mission by providing strong financial practices, fund development, and leadership within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be results-driven and committed to improving the quality of life for older adults through fund development, program oversight, community engagement, and cultivating strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Centre's financial and budgeting processes, including grant reporting
Lead fund development, including preparation of grant applications
Provide organizational leadership and effective centre management
Collaborate on strategic planning with board members and staff
Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and management as well as non-profit financial accounting practices
Demonstrated success in fund development, including grant writing and reporting
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with proven ability to implement plans and adapt to evolving needs and opportunities
Practical knowledge of non-profit management is highly regarded
Understanding of issues affecting seniors and familiarity with relevant local resources and services are assets
A degree in Business Administration or professional accounting designation is an asset
This position offers 20 hours per week with flexibility for partial remote work. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience and will range between $26 and $31 per hour.
