The candidate should also have a keen understanding of how Accounting relates to practical business goals.
Duties
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support corporate finance initiatives.
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform auditing tasks to ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for efficient bookkeeping and reporting.
Provide account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial services initiatives and enhance overall business operations.
Experience
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role in the accounting field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in major accounting platforms.
Experience in corporate finance, budgeting, payroll processing, auditing, and financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
