Courier Driver

Full job description
We are currently looking for a Courier Driver to join our friendly team. You must committed and reliable and have a clean and current Full Driver's license or equivalent. Reliability and the right attitude are key to succeeding in this role. You should be hard-working, energetic, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve for our customers

Your duties will include but not limited to:
Delivering goods in timely manner
Manual Loading and Unloading when required
Check the condition of the load and that it is secure
Ensuring goods are secured correctly and removed safely
Inspecting goods for damage and complete incident reports
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Record deliveries
Check documentation for each stage of the loading and unloading (inward and outward) and submit documentation timely.
Pre-checks of vehicle before each trip – including oil, water, fuel, air pressure levels are in line with road safety and vehicle safety standards
Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy and carry out minor maintenance
Report defects, accidents, or violations - immediately report the instance.
Always collect proof of delivery as per company guidelines
Always follow health and Safety operation during driving & Complying with all traffic laws at all times To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate:
Clean and current Full Driver license or equivalent
Flexible Work Availability
Being physically fit (there is some heavy lifting)
Work in conditions that may be stressful, including poor weather and Heavy Traffic
Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong results-focused work ethic
Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised
Strong Health & Safety focus & adherence to all H&S procedures
Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
Committed and reliable
Pass the drug test
No criminal records Initial training will be provided to the right candidate.
