Kal Tire is one of Canada’s largest independently owned tire dealers; we go beyond tire sales and service to tire recycling and retread. We are looking for Tire Retread Technicians to join our team at our Bridgewater, NS. location.

Retreading is the process of taking used and worn tires, removing what is left of the remaining tread, then adding a new tread using a similar process to how new tires are made. Kal Tire’s Retread and Repair facilities provide a service that allows our customers to realize the full value of their existing tire assets while helping them reduce the environmental impact of their operations.

Job Responsibilities
Using hand tools to identify and prepare tires for repair.
Train to follow established retreading procedure.
Methodical and patient approach with strong attention to detail.
Safety mindset and follow all safety procedures.
Job Requirements
Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required.
Required ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a high preforming team environment.
Drivers License preferred.
