Equanimity Consultants Pty Ltd, trading as Empyrean Education Institute, is a nationally registered training provider delivering quality education aligned with the highest industry standards. We are expanding into Cambodia, which requires accounting staff who can support internal reporting and documentation in both English and Khmer.

About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our Perth-based team. This position covers a broad range of financial management and compliance duties, including:

Preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Ensuring compliance with ATO requirements including GST, BAS, and superannuation.
Supporting end-of-financial-year reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
Providing financial analysis and advice to management.
Assisting with internal financial reporting and documentation related to expansion into Cambodia, where Khmer fluency is essential.
Skills and Experience Required

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ professional accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation legislation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
Fluency in Khmer (written and spoken) required to prepare financial documentation and internal reports supporting Cambodian operations.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
