Join SRG Global for a high-impact shutdown role focused on ensuring peak performance of lubrication and grease systems across fixed plant equipment. You’ll play a critical role in executing periodic and grouped maintenance campaigns, with particular emphasis on lubrication health, system integrity, and reliability. This position is FIFO from Perth.
FIFO Shutdown Dates:
Main shutdown - Commences on the 13th October till the 20th October
Flexibility:
Casual Flat Rate.
12 Hour Days Night Shift/Day Shift.
Key Duties and Scope:
Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter Role.
Implement structured lubrication programs, covering greasing of bearings, gears, and other critical mechanical assemblies
Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining heavy plant and industrial equipment
Conduct lubricant system diagnostics, monitoring for signs of contamination, wear, overheating, or inadequate lubrication.
Perform oil and grease sampling, analysis, and reporting, aligning with industry-standard lubrication intervals and best practices.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Single Point Lubricators (SPLs) and any centralised lubrication systems.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
MLA1 or MLA2 (desirable)
Must Have:
Basic knowledge of lubricants and lubrication techniques
Trade Certificate – Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade.
Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
